About Me
I’ve spent the last 11 years making sure physical things get from point A to point B without too much chaos. I started out on the logistics side dealing with freight carriers, and eventually moved into manufacturing supply chain.
I’m not a big "buzzword" guy. I just like coming in, solving the puzzles of the day—usually delayed shipments or stock discrepancies—and keeping the assembly lines fed. My focus is always on practical troubleshooting before bottlenecks impact production.
Experience
Supply Chain Analyst
Apex Ergonomics
Managing inventory for the metal components division. I adjust material requirements planning (MRP) based on sales forecasts, coordinate directly with overseas and domestic vendors, and expedite delayed shipments to ensure the floor hits weekly targets.
Inventory Control Specialist
Lakeshore Retail Group
Monitored warehouse stock levels for a regional grocery chain. Handled root-cause analysis for shrinkage, damage, and mispicks, and organized quarterly physical inventory counts under tight daily deadlines.
Logistics Coordinator
FastTrack Freight
Tracked LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments and acted as the primary middleman between truck drivers and receiving docks. Handled freight claims and learned the fundamentals of logistics troubleshooting.
Notable Projects
Q3 Aluminum Shortage Mitigation
When a primary supplier faced a labor strike, I helped identify and onboard two secondary domestic suppliers rapidly. We maintained 90% production capacity and avoided a two-week shutdown on the desk-frame assembly line.
Warehouse Bin Reorganization
Worked with the floor manager to remap high-velocity items closer to the loading docks. Cut forklift travel time by roughly 15% for the top 50 selling items.
New ERP Module Testing
Tasked by IT to run dummy purchase orders through a new ERP system prior to launch. Identified a glitch where lead times were defaulting to zero days, preventing major automated reordering issues for the purchasing team.

Off the Clock
When I’m not tracking down missing purchase orders, I’m probably in my backyard trying to perfect a smoked brisket on the Traeger, complaining about the Detroit Lions, playing on a Tuesday evening golf league, or making slow progress on a 1970s bathroom renovation.
